The standard M.A.R.S is a mobile calf pen made to house a maximum of 10 calves up to 8 weeks old. The system, run correctly, lowers mortalities, improves growth rates and allows calves to develop social skills, whilst lowering costs and time taken to look after calves. It is available galvanized or non-galvanized, according to your requirements and can be modified for other livestock, e.g., pigs and chickens.

Calf Teats, Bottles and Feeders
The Milk Bar philosophy is simple, controlling the flow of milk and regulating the drinking speed improves calf health. Founded on a small family farm, in the North Island of New Zealand, the company pioneered controlled flow feeding with the breakthrough invention of the Milk Bar Teat.
Calf Teats
An ideal teat will encourage a calf to drink in the same way as it would from its mother: sucking and squeezing, drinking slowly and generating a lot of saliva. Milk Bar teats - ranging from strong rubber Black Teats to softer Colostrum Teats - are designed to ensure that all these occur when the calf is drinking from a Milk Bar Feeder.
The Milk Bar teats mimic drinking from a cow's udder, ensuring proper generation of saliva and good digestion, maximising nutrition and avoiding illnesses such as scours and pneumonia.

Training Bottles
The Milk Bar Training Bottle has a comfortable, strong handle, making it easy to feed your calves by hand when necessary. It can be fitted with the colostrum teat to feed calves their first meals of colostrum and to teach them how to use the normal milk bar teats and larger feeders.
